Outdoor Lights on with an Alarm

You will need some Rules in the M1 to handle turning the lights on.

Whenever Burglar Alarm Activates
Then Turn On Light XX

You can write other Rules to turn off the lights or do it manually.

You can blink the lights with this Rule:

WHENEVER EVERY 4 SECONDS
AND ANY BURGLAR ALARM, ANY AREA IS ACTIVE
THEN TURN Light XX ON FOR 2 SECS

This will cause the lights to turn on and off every 2 seconds. When you disarm or the alarm turns off the lights will stop blinking. If you want to continue blinking until manually disarmed, substitue the AND statement with this:
AND ALARM MEMORY, ANY AREA IS ON

That's another nice thing about the M1. More than one way to accomplish the same thing. I use UPB link 64 (alarm flash) on the M1XSP to flash my lights.
