I have an omnipro 2 and 5.7 touch screen I can program the switch with upstart and programed the names into the hai pannel with pc acess and the PIM blinks when triggered with pc access but not with the touchscreen?

In pc access I see the unit ID as

1. bar (A1) br1
2. hall (A2) br2

etc.

In upstart I have the password set as 1234 as is pc access

the unit Id is set in upstart in the (bar) switch to 001 as is the hall at 002

I put the bar switch in program mode and then
I press control and the the light (bar) and hit config on the touchscreen and it says finding module

No module found

I had them working before I created a new network with pc access and upstart just cant remember what Im missing?

Please help

I'm not sure if this is your case but upstart and pc access use different modes on the pim. did you reset it back to the default HAI mode after an upstart session?

It was my thinking to but Im using two seperate pim's ...one for upstart and one for HAI but ....will a PIM give a red light status from the Omnipro if its stuck in the upstart mode?...because I may have used that one for upstart also.

To be honest I forget if it does or not. It's just easier to default it, I'm pretty sure it's default state is what the omni pro needs.

Default mode is the "message" mode and that is what the Omni needs. Upstart uses "pulse" mode and Upstart will change the mode to pulse mode for its own use. It will stay in pulse mode (even powered down) until you reset it back to message mode for the Omni. Do a reset and it should put you back in business.

Got it... I was on the wrong phase :o and also had a gen 1 pim with gen 2 switches ...with simply automated's version of upstart only supports gen1
