PC Output to analog / digital cable channel

I have been searching around and I am not getting a needed, complete method to get this to work. I have an analog modulator but I am not clear what I can do and what is compatable? Can this output be put on a "digital cable" - just not clear with the different signal types?

I have a need to output a PC's screen output so that it can be viewed on a cable channel. With analog cable a modulated output to an assigned channel- this worked but the resolution (probably due to the modulator) was not very clear.

Now with a comcast "digital" cable I am not sure how this can be implimented? Can the monitor screen output probably
1024 X 768 or lower resolution be placed on "the cable" so TV's in home distribution can be tuned to a channel and monitor the PC's output? Depending on output quality, HDMI might also be the source to be used.

I am not clear on how the cable channels that are digital now and that some are encrypted and require a set-top converter box to view them - can co-exist with this type of setup or not?

Please feel free to add or suggest other ways of getting a PC's output with some clarity on a home distribution
/ TV channel that can be viewed by a number of locations. I have IP cameras, applications -HS, device monitoring, that I would like to be able to view and different locations.

I thought about using an alternative "line in" at TV monitor but then I would have to setup a distribution for that signal for any TV monitor what would need to view that. A channel assignment seems to be a way?

Thanks in advance.

You can use a different input on the tv. ie the cable box is probably component/hdmi or maybe even composite to the tv, use the coax (F-connector) from the modulator. then when you want to view the pc you would change the tv's input to the coax.
I haven't found a way to use the digital channels.

Check out ZeeVee.
