Power Supplies

I know this topic of power supplies has come up in the past, but I didn't want to hijack a conversation. Does anyone have thoughts on if this project (converting an ATX power supply @ indestructibles) would be a good replacement to a ELK-P412 or the like? I could install a couple of ELK-PD9HC's after it to protect equipment and divvy up power.

I wouldn't use it for a security system installation myself....not UL listed for purpose. You could use it to power other equipment if you really wanted to.
