I am trying to download Premise. but the link in the Wiki for the stable release is dead. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this?

Thanks

I have it on this server. The site's been dead for yours, but I keep it up just for this :)

On another note. I moved my server over from XP to Win7. Everything seemed to work ok, but I realized today that the server is not updating, and my UPB devices show that they are unregistered. Error says :Subsystem not registered.

Any ideas? I cant seem to find any info on the forum, other then some drivers from 123, but I cant remember how to load them (its been awhile).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Brian

I had hacked some of the UPB modules over the years. Which ones are you loading? And what devices do you have?

The UPB drivers all support specific devices. So if the device you're using isn'r recognized, it won't see it. BUT you need to load the right mix of drivers. So load the main UPB driver, then the one specific to the manufacturers products you have. See the attached image for my setup:

I believe they are SA units. In my old system, it recognized one, but not the other. Its been a year or so since I messed with them, can you refresh my memory on how to add the driver?

Thanks

Then you would need the upb.dll and the upbsa.dll files in the \Premise\SYS\bin\devices folder. If they are not there, copy them there and then restart Premise. Go to File> Addins (or click the Addins icon), select Devices from the dropdown or the icon on the left. You should see the UPB drivers listed. Select both the UPB and the UPB-SA drivers. Add the correct interface unde the UPB device and the system should find any supported devices. If you have a switch that isn't supported, it should show as unknown device in the list.

Hope that helps.
