Premise Premise Web Server

For some reason, I cannot change the web server addressof Premise. It shows 0.1.0.4, but wont let me change it. any ideas?

Also, why can I not access the web page from the server on my laptop? i have tried using the ip address:80, ip address:86, IPaddress/premise, etc. Any ideas?

What is your laptop's IP address?

192.168.1.6 (STATIC)
192.168.1.3(SERVER/STATIC)

the web server address will be the same as the server's IP Address.

Try https://192.168.1.3:86

Also, make sure you have the automation browser add-in installed in premise.

Yep have tried that address numerous times, and no go. Yes the browser is installed, as I can see it on the host machine, just cant get to it on any other machines in my network.

https://192.168.1.3:86 will require port 443 (usually...https is secure)). Is your Premise server IP address still showing 0.1.0.4? If so, the maybe try setting your IP address on your laptop to 0.1.0.5 (or something- I've never experienced it, nor heard of it)

What does localhost:86 give you?

Do you have windows firewall enabled? If so, you need to disable it, or add it to your trusted sites.

OK, STUPID me was trying to use Google Chrome to connect, DUH! Once I used IE, well guess what it works, just using the server name! Now I wish that it would just resize to the current resolution on the screen.

Hate to bring up an old topic, BUT im having the same issue again. I just moved my setup over to a windows 7-64 machine, and I cant get the local website to load.I have reviewed all of the issues above, but still no go. Anyone have any ideas?

OK got this to work. Basically I had to uninstall then reinstall premise??
