Programming OPII

Hi -

I'm getting very close to ordering an OPII. However, I want to write my own software to control the board. I see PC Access as a means for configuring the system and setting up rules, etc. which is fine, but I want to write my own VB.NET applications to control it and get notifications when things happen.

Is there a document on commands (like rs232 commands) or is there another software package i need, or does the PC Access software install class libraries that i can use?
