Question about ELK M1G and using it with an ISY-99.

Well I got my Elk M1G installed without any trouble, and the M1XEP module is working fine with ElkRP. I can't get the Elk to do anything with my lights however. I've exported my devices from the ISY-99i and imported them into ElkRP no problem. I can arm and disarm my Elk via the ISY Adminstrative console. But no matter what I do, I can't get a single light to turn on in my house in response to a rule or direct control from a keypad. It just doesn't work. Is there something I'm missing???? I'm very frustrated as I've spent hours and hours trying to get a single light to turn on. And yes, I did post to the Universal Devices ELK forum as well, but no reponse as of yet. Thanks in advance for the help. (Oh, and I already know that you can't have the ElkRP connected at the same time).

If you turn a light on from the ISY web GUI, does your Elk UI indicate that the light is on?

You are aware that the lights are at sporadic addresses/numbers within the Elk scheme of 1-255, right?
Is the "Opt" column checked in ElkRP for each of your lights? (it might be called something else now)

Edit:
Try using this ElkM1.net tool to confirm that the Elk is actually sending the lighting command over the Ethernet

So, I assume your ISY is talking fine with your lights since you already had that up and running. And your elk must be talking to the isy since you can arm the elk from isy. Since the elk controls lights by asking the isy to send the commands, there must be an issue with the communication from elk to isy specific to lighting commands. In the Elk lighting section of elk rp software the lights should be listed as "serial expander" and opt 2 should be checked.

Just to make sure you didn't miss the obvious (I have done this more than once), make sure you actually uploaded all of the info loaded into elk rp into the elk m1 and then YOU MUST LOG OFF OF ELK FROM RP. I can't tell you how many times I have been going AHHHHH why doesn't that rule work, only to realize that Elk RP was still connected. When Elk RP is "connected" all of the other communications don't go through.

click the "show" box in a few sample lights so that they show up on your elk java console window. From there you can test the lights. Remember that elk truncates the lights names so you may have confusion with 2 or more lights ending up with the same name. Make sure you know which is which.

Thanks for the help. I actually finally figured it out late last night. Apparently you have to "check" the 6 "Serial Port 0 Transmit" options on the Globals G29-G42 tab in ElkRP. Without these being checked, nothing works. You'd think those options would get checked automatically for you when you import the ISY file. Well at least everything is working great now!

Globals 35-40 should have been enabled when you installed the XEP ;) Not an ISY issue.
See page 6 of the XEP guide, as it won't let me copy/paste.
