Ra2 is a game changer - i have the hook up

What hardware would be required fiasco, other than an iPhone/touch/pad?

RadioRa 2 main repeater connected to your house's wireless network.
at least one RA maestro device controlling a load
iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Do you have an iPhone, iPad or iTouch? I could whip up a quick GUI and let you control my house.

I have a ra2 main repeater hooked to my wireless network, ra2 dimmers, and an ipad.

Would I need to run something on a pc connected to the network to make it work?

Dump your integration report and email it to me. Also download iViewer from the app store.

Fiasco - Thanks for the offer, i have iviewer installed on my ipad and where would you like me to send the integration report to?

What is the IP address of your repeater on your network
192.168.1.2

pm me a username and password to telnet into the repeater

This can be found under Settings.... Integration.... Telnet Logins in Ra2 essentials software

Here is a screenshot of your basic GUI for your RA setup in GUI Designer

You have mail.

Download and install GUI Designer from Command Fusion. Make sure your windows is up to date by running windows update.

http://www.commandfusion.com/download/Comm..._Setup_BETA.exe

Extract the zip file I emailed you and open the gui file inside with GUI Designer

click file... upload service

click start

notice the IP address and port number in the upload service window

On your ipad go to settings... cf iviewer

Set the file url to the IP address listed in your gui designer upload service window

something like 192.168.2.150:8019

Set "Reload GUI File" to on.

close settings
open iviewer

you will see the ipaddress of your ipad pop up in the upload service window.

Once it is loaded close iviewer on your ipad

Go to settings, cf iviewer

Turn "reload GUI File" to off. (If you don't do this iviewer will erase your remote screen and look for an updated download from GUI Designer)

Now try out your ipad remote.

Keep getting the message bad login too many login attempts, I have to crash, got to be out the door by six. I'll let you know if I have any better luck tomorrow. Thanks again man

Chris,

I spent a couple hours last night on skype with the developers of CommandFusion. We are going to build support for RadioRa2 directly into the CommandFusion GUI Designer. Basically it will allow you to import your RA integration report and will automatically create all the system commands within the GUI Designer software. Very cool stuff.

That is really cool, i think its great that there is no pc required to be running. Hopefully i can spend some time this weekend learning more about commandfusion. Very interesting indeed

Thank you very much

i was going to buy RA2 but i found only work with 110V and i need 220V/240V

but when i downloaded PDF from Lutron website i found its use DC adapter with :
input: 120V 60Hz 6.5W to output: 9V 300mA

what if i used Dc adapter with input:220V to output:9V 300mA

do u think that will work??
