Trying to use the Radio Ra 2 Visor Control outputs to control a frankenstein'ed remote that has two buttons... on and off. I currently have it wired and working on TWO outputs on the Visor Control and it works without problem (by pressing the buttons on the visor control). The problem I'm having is I'd like to use a single button on a control keypad to toggle between the two outputs and and can't seem to do that within RA2 Essentials software. Anyone know if this is possible... or can you suggest anyway to accomplish with a single button from a keypad? Maybe use a relay (or a FET switch) on ONE of the visor control outputs that toggles between the two?
One other option I just thought of... I suppose I could use my Elk M1G as the controller. Single output from the Visor Control to an input on the Elk. Hook up the remote to two contact closures on the Elk - On and Off. Then setup rules to deal with activating the two contact closures. Thoughts on this idea.
Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.
