Reporting Codes

I am wondering if I can use the reporting codes to write to the Elk M1 log? For some reason, my elk does not report to my Premise software that the window is open, yet it shows open in RP. I would like to look at all sensor inputs in a log format. Does anyone know how to do this. I have read the manual on Reporting Codes, but it doesnt make any sense to me.

Sounds like you have an issue with Premise and/or its driver. I know nothing about Premise, but I know that my M1 reports everything to HomeSeer via Dan's excellent my.Elk script.

The OP resolved that issue. I believe his question is not about external drivers but the ability to write entries into the M1's log. He wants a zone's state-change to be recorded in the log.

I found this post but it doesn't have a simple, software-only solution.

FWIW, it is possible to have Premise log all zone state-changes (see the LogMaster Module) ... but that's not what you're after.
