Siren Not Working With OIIe

I connected an ELK SS36 dual tone indoor sounder to my OIIe today and it doesn't work. If I turn "supervision" on I get an error on the console so I figured it was a wring issue. I tried connecting the wires from the sounder directly to the board (bypassing the wire run through the wall) and I still get the error and it still wont work. I also tried connecting it to the the outdoor sounder input to see if the indoor input was bad and I still get an error. The siren works fine if I connect it to a 9V battery.

What is your total power draw on the siren output. You cannot exceed 1amp.

This is the only siren I have. I current draw is 470mA.

I spoke with HAI tech support today regarding an issue I was having with my OmniStat2 no longer communicating with the OIIe. We came to the conclusion that the thermostat output on the board was bad. Therefore, I am assuming The siren output is also bad. They are replacing the board under warranty.

Just touch the siren to the 12v batt and see if it goes off. The siren on a HAI is just a 12v out.
