Hi. Does anybody know if there's a wireless transmitter that will work with the GE wireless receiver for Elk M1 Gold?
I don't want to fiddle with the wireless portable doorbell that I've just purchased since I broke the black "negative wire," which is a shart piece of wire that connects to the battery spring, and the one that broke off is the wire that is soldered to the board. Because I'm visually impaired, soldering is very tricky for me and that instead of spending $30+ to get a soldering ion, I'd rather get a new one and start over, but before I do that, I really wanted to know if there's a wireless transmitter that is small enough to fit in the door frame. I will have to purchase a GE NX-548E, which is no big deal, since this will be the basis of having wireless zones, like door contacts, motion sensors, etc. If at all possible, I don't want to deal with relays, transistors, and all that stuff...
