Hi everybody, I have 3 hard wired smoke alarm, no batteries, one on each floor all connected together, I believe the term is chainlinked, and for some reason they are ringing not stop. Don't know the one that's causing all of them to rign. Their is no smoke so I don't understand why it's ringing. Can anybody help please.

I would just replace them all, especially if they are more than a few years old.  They are cheap enough.  And hopefully you DO have batteries in them. Even hardwired smoke alarms have a battery backup.

I have smoke detector connected to my elk M1 but we also have some
Connected to the 120v. I'm good by code

The main reasons why smoke alarms ring when no smoke is present are:
 •  Cover or Sensor Chamber is Covered by Dust or Dirt.
 • Insects Covered or Clogged the Sensor Chamber.
 • Alarm was Triggered from Another Part of the Home
 • Power Interruptions to AC/DC Smoke Alarms
 • A Loose Electrical Connection on AC or AC/DC Smoke Alarms
 • Humidity
 • Smoke Alarm May Need to be Relocated
If you cannot find any of these problems, then better change your system and get a new one with good quality like the products of Canadian Security Professionals.
