Haiku Space Questions/Troubleshooting/etc

How do you turn a unit off? (I.e light, etc) All I can do is choose "brighten" which turns the unit on, but there is no way to turn the unit off, other than choosing "dim" a bunch of times, but even though that will turn the light down to where it appears off, the unit will still show as On. FYI. I am controlling some X-10 devices. Thanks

OK, I have about 20 X10 units setup and I have just realised that now some units show ON/OFF and others show DIM/BRIGHTEN. There was NO issue before I upgraded to ver 1.10 so it appears a bug has been introduced.

Thanks. All of my units only show dim/brighten. An option that would allow us to dim/brighten along with just turning the unit on/off would be nice. I'll be using my other apps until this is fixed. Thanks for the help.

Reporting a bug in SPACE 1.10.
I had a fire alarm go off today and Space did not report the alarm correctly. Here's the scenario:

Single smoke alarm tripped in zone called "Office Smoke" connected to a HAI OPII.
Space reported a Fire Alarm in Area 1. Looked at my zones and Space showed no issue with the Office Smoke Zone (or any zone). It was only reporting a Fire Alarm. So I was unable to tell what Zone had a problem. I was also unable to disarm the Fire Alarm as well. Obviously having a fire alarm drop and not knowing what zone it's in is very frustrating.

I opened Haiku and everything was reporting as it should. Haiku showed an alarm in Area 1 and also showed the Office Smoke Zone tripped. I was able to bypass the zone and disarm the alarm in Haiku as well.

The zone not being updated is very strange as Space simply displays the information it gets from the controller for this, so I suspect there may have been some sort of communications error or the controller failed to send out the zone status update when the alarm went off. Did you try closing Space and opening it again to get it to refresh the zones? We will do some testing here to make sure its not reproducible.

The second issue is indeed a bug: We will correct the Disarm option being missing when there is an alarm.

Not a biggie but more of an annoyance. In the audio zones, would you please move the volume percentage from under the volume slider to above it? In it's current position the percentage is hidden by your finger/hand when using the slider.
thanks!

Yes, I did close and reopen Space with the same results each time. Maybe something to do with it being a fire zone? As I said, when I opened Haiku it worked correctly so I know the OPII was reporting the correct status.

This is coming, thanks.

I think most would characterize a missing "Disarm" option during an alarm as a Biggie.

This will be fixed in the next update. Its only an issue if the system is not armed when the alarm sounds. Arming/disarming should clear it in that case.
