Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

grrrrr.. damn forum. Hit a backspace and lost a few paragraphs so this will be short.
 
Too bad a settable watchdog timer couldn't be implemented with a 0 to disable. My ISY can monitor the loss of a heartbeat / date&time and power cycle the WC* automatically. That would be a complete system monitor from birth to death for the data.

Update on latest version for yesterday's 24 hour period.

                     0 restarts of PLC code!
 
 
Time to retry my DS2438 devil, and attempt longer cables, for my worst case scenario, again.
