Switching Speakers (Elk and Homeseer)

I would like to find a way to switch the output for announcements between my ELK and my Homeseer box.

The only speakers I have on the first and second floors are the Elk speakers. The basement does have overhead speakers in the bar and full 7.2 in the theater,

Is there some way to wire the elk speakers to a relay and switch the outputs based upon what is speaking at the time (Elk or Homeseer)? What Elk relay would I need?

I grabbed a couple Crown PZM-10 mics for main areas of the house and would like to wire them up and use the voice part of homeseer without losing the ELK announcements.

What about taking the output from the Elk and running it to a line in on the PC and having the PC drive the speakers?

biggest issue is reliability of the pc. You want the security system to be rock solid and work under battery power.
