If they are so worried about saving the remote's configuration then why did they make impossable to clone the stupid remote in the 1st place. If the USB adapter can save the master's configuration then it should be able to restore it. Then both ACT or the user's could have copied remote configurations and all would be much easier in an upgrade. Do they really think it's a threat to your home security that someone may copy your remote ?? In the 1st place they have to get their hand on them. Any trully secure system should not have critical access function on a remote anyway.
Sorry - I'm prolly way off topic but simple things like an upgrade path should have been thought of way before the 1st products went to prototype phase.
