I am a bit confused about the options needed to have IR functionality for my new HA setup using ISY994i.
1. To control devices with an IR remote (Logitech Harmony) do I need to purchase IRLinc as well as get the ISY994i IR model?
2. I know that Tx and Rx can be done with the respective IRLinc units. Can these just be paired with a non-IR model for full functionality?
3. If I use the ISY994i IR to Tx and Rx signals would I have to use IR repeaters for home runs to the unit far away in a network closet? This seems very cumbersome.
I think I am missing something here. Any thoughts for the easiest and most cost-effective way integrate IR with ISY? Thanks for the help!
