UPB switches not responding to manual operation

Looked back, ordered 36A00-1. Because it said it came with cable for automation system or computer.

I assume I now have to order a 36A05-2?

Im not permitted to upload my export.

But I got some switches programmed. But I have a flashing issue. Every 2 seconds they flicker. The LED is blinking magenta aswell. Though its programmed to blue when off, off when on.

CFL/LED switches, though most lights are still incandecents, though specs say they can handle 600W incandecent load. I plan to slowly switch over to LED. I do have some installed in the house (sylvania 12W A19)

Also outside are 9W PAR20

Any ideas, or can someone explain why i cant upload export?

*edit* went and disconnected PIM from OPII and unplugged. Still blinks

Reset programming in panty. Stops blinking.

*edit 2*

I read install again. Says blinking magenta is timer, so I double checked my upstart, timer is not ticked. All lights do it, unless I send an on command from the test tab in upstart. Manual puts them full bright, with blinks

I had one switch a while ago; thinking it was an SA UPB switch which would flicker with dim to around 30%.

I am thinking too sometimes it wouldn't respond to the local load paddle control.  Well here I just replaced it with another similiar SA model switch.

I did not have any issues with the new switch.  I sent back the old switch and I was told that there was nothing wrong with it.

That said I have updated the second UPB switch with a multiple paddle SA switch.  Its been fine now.

Just a few weeks ago wife noticed one switch in the kitchen was doing wierd LED stuff and became unresponsive.  It one also an SA UPB switch.  I just ignored it thinking it was some link noise; next day it went away and I haven't seen it doing this since one time.

All UPB controlled lighting here is still incandescent.

I would think that a cold reset would fix your issues.  Do you have extra UPB switches to test with?

For uploading your stuff; maybe if you zipped up the file you could upload it.

I'll try zip, I just find it weird they all do it, yet upstart doesn't list a timer active, but install sheet for HAI say blinking magenta in switch is active timer. No links with timers either.

I have more switches downstairs that I haven't installed yet. If I get my upstart file up you can see I programmed all the ones i have installed and have gotten half in.

Uploaded a Zip with my export. I need to redo it. Changing fade rate to 1.6. I like it better than 3.3.

Anyone see whats wrong? And why lights when single rocker up, causes magenta flash of LED and light to blink off every 2sec or so?

*edit*

Keep getting an error 403. Tried renaming extension to jpeg etc. Ill see what I can do

Have you tried a different browser to upload your UPB export file?

There are two uploaders; simple and advanced which utilizes flash.

Wierd stuff on all of the light switches flashing.

Guessing you have validated the neutral, hot and load wires to be fine on the switches?

Here I keep the HAI PIM attached to the HAI OPII panel and utilize a traveling HAI PIM to check on the UPB stuff via the laptop around the house.

I also control the UPB lights from other software and have other SA PIMs in place.

I'll try from home. I post to forums via Tapatalk Pro (same as 2 I think). I was uploading from laptop with XP, so limited on browser there. Advanced uploader would show error. Basic would just have browse and file location box disappear. I'll try from desktop PC. I only have 1 PIM. I think it's in switches themselves. It blinks on manual push. But if I test send an on command from upstart. It stops blinking.
