Video Server & WL3

I can't see my Camera's through WL3 on my iPhone.

I access the cameras 4 different ways (all but the WL3 on the iPhone is working):
1. From a computer - accessing through WL3 - I go to www.myhomeserver.com/web-link - This works.
2. From the 5.7e - This works.
3. From a computer - accessing directly to the HAI Video Server - This works.
4. From iPhone - Not working. I go to the same site as I would computer (www.myhomeserver.com/web-link). WL3 comes up fine, I can access my lighting, security, thermo's, etc. When I go cameras, it states none are configured, no videos exist, and no snapshots - all of which exist every other way I access it.

Is there an extra setup item I'm missing to make this work?

Is the issue networking (can't connect) or rendering (can't display the picture)?

Are you accessing via the iPhone via 3G or WiFi? Try both. If one works, you don't have a rendering problem but a networking problem.

If you are accessing via 3G, do you have a domain setup?
If via WiFi - over a local LAN or from the Internet?

I don't believe it's a networking or a rendering issue. I can access WL3 no problem from my iPhone, but when I click on the cameras it just states that there are no camera's configured - but the cameras work and show configured when I access WL3 from my computer.

I just tried this, same problem exists whether I access over 3G or wifi.

what make/model of ip cameras do you have? or do you have hai video encoder?

What is the version number of the WL3 software you are running? It can be found on the Options page.

The camera's are Vitek IVR30's.

The version of WL3 is 3.0.9287.0.

ok i found them but they look like analog cameras. what are you plugging them into? HAI video encoder maybe?

I'm using HAI's Video Server which has a decoder in it (I think).

we have support for their encoders in our iphone app. if you want to PM temp access to the encoder i can test and see if they are online for mobile use.
