X10 Whole House Blocker

Since I already have this blocker that I took out of my old house, I am considering getting it installed when I have an electrician come in to do some other work. My lighting is all Insteon, but I am considering using X10 over the powerline to do some other stuff in the future.
Can anyone tell me if installing this might interfere with the Insteon devices at all? Since it is passive, is it going to bridge the Insteon signals as well?
Also, on a related note, what do you tell an electrician who has never seen automation stuff before?
Thanks!

I surely wouldnt have an electrician that has never seen HA do a single thing for me concerning HA. Thats what integrators (and this forum for DIY O)) are for.

I would only have him put in the blocker. It is a pretty simple item to install. The only hard part is digging out the neutral. I did it myself before, but I do not really want to take apart the whole electrical panel again.

Since the Insteon signals are 131.65 KHz and the X10 is 120 KHz. Many passive devices may pass Insteon fairly well. My original .1 uf cap [now removed] across the phases worked well with both Insteon and X10 signals. Access Points on each phase made it more responsive and I am guessing less retries to get messages to intended modules.

Thanks for the input.
