I’ve got an OmniPro II console with a vrc0p that I’m using successfully with vizia rf+ devices. I’m trying to understand how the console interacts with zwave devices that aren’t vizia rf+…specifically a Somfy zrtsi bridge controller.
I can control each node on the zrtsi using PC Access…opening and closing each shade. The problem I’m having is that the Status for each of the shades is always displayed as “ON”. I understand that zrtsi doesn’t report back the status like the vizia rf+ units, but I expected that if I executed the unit Status command the device would be queried and the status updated in PC Access. When I execute the Status command (and the shade is down, or “off&rdquo
, the status in PC Access will change to “OFF” for about one second and then change back to “ON”.
I’ve got a second vrc0p that I’ve connected to a PC. When I query each device I believe I see the correct status…the level is 255 when the shade is open and the level is 0 when the shade is closed.
Should the status for non-vizia rf+ devices update when I manually execute the Status command? Do I have something misconfigured somewhere?
thanks
