We've been just leaving this open. Usually we'll shut the glass doors which does a very good job at blocking the heat so i'm assuming it'll block the cold air from comming in in winter months. We recently moved into the house and this is my first fireplace and first house.

I maxed out all my circuits on my panel and still need to add 3-5 so I'll need a breakout box anyways, I'll just get one with a lot of extra space and put all these circuits with some of those in there. Hopfully I can find them cheaper.

That filter looks like what I'm looking for. These circuits are in areas of the house that don't use insteon. I've had really good success with insteon so I don't want to move to something else.

I remember reading a writeup on how to make your own x10 filter. I thought x10 filters won't work for insteon.

Does anyone make an actual circuit breaker or something like a filterlinc for 15-20amp that I could just install at the breaker box? I have a few circuits that have a bunch of components that interfere with my insteon signals (server room 2x15, fish room 1x15, media cabinet 1x15, garage 1x15...

I have a screened in porch and use my old harman kardon surround speakers. Put them up about 4-5 months ago. They're in each corner and are pretty covered so they don't get water or anything in them but i haven't had any problems. A friend has bose outdoor speakers that's been there 10+ years...

Depending on the price of the 1/2" one couldn't you split the 3/4" into 2- 1/2"'s. Actually you'll want to have 3 or 4 of the 1/2"'s to split to equal the volume of one 3/4". I'm assuming the 1/2" is so cheap because it's used in most appliances and the 3/4" is only for the main line.

This would be great though for a NG Grill wouldn't it? The handle on my manual valve broke off and we've just been leaving the line on, which leaks NG to the outside. I can smell the gas sometimes. Has anyone found this type of valve?

I know Promixis's Girder can do that with ease. Also able to arm/disarm with buttons and do whatever else you'd like the ELK to do.
