    Electricity Metering and Control

If you are just looking to monitor loads with the capability of having a relay contact open or close on a predetermined setpoint then you could cobble together a hard wired circuit using CR Magnetics current sensing relays. I believe the largest sensor relay unit is rated for 100A. See...

New Brultech Energy Monitoring Model (ECM-1240) due in 2009

Brian, Tenholde's Homeseer plug-in does this for me. I have had my HS application down and PC off for a day at times and any accumulated KWH were retieved and updated once HS was re-started. I am not sure how much memory the 1240 has and how long it would retain the information though. Will

New Brultech Energy Monitoring Model (ECM-1240) due in 2009

UJ, Does it come with a serial port redirector software? I have both a lantronix and a silex serial to ethernet convertor and either work fine with the 1240. I redirected a com port to TCP-IP address, set serial port for 19,200, 8, N, 1 and it works great. Will

    Brultech ECM-1240 Installation

Glad you figured it out. You had me stumped. I also extended my CT's around 60' with no problem. I took actual load readings on Sunday and compared to what HS was reporting and was within 2%. Good enough for me. I also saved a extra CT on each of my 240V balanced loads by asking tenholde to...

New Brultech Energy Monitoring Model (ECM-1240) due in 2009

UJ, Just a thought. Do you have more than one micro CT on one of those Aux channels? I found my polarity off when I had more than one CT on a channel and it reported more than actual on the 1240. I used an amprobe to obtain actual current draw on the circuits to straighten out the CT polarity...

    Brultech ECM plugin for Homeseer

mdiehl - how did you do it? I would like to use micro CT's on my Chan2 as well. A 20 ohm 1% resistor in parallel did not work for me. Will

    Brultech ECM plugin for Homeseer

Brian, Tenholde's plug-in has been working great in it's beta stage since it was released a couple of weeks ago. Ed is adding more features to it weekly. I have been using with HS Touch and so far it is playing well together. I created meter graphics for each load monitored and use textboxes...

    Brultech ECM plugin for Homeseer

I upgraded my version of tenEcmServer and tenHSPlugin last night and woke up to this and quite a few of these errors today while working in homeseer, usually one right after another. If I exit the error it shuts down HS. So I have been clicking continue button. No harm, but it is starting to...
