Batteries for NX-454 Wireless sensors

I am running about 15-20 GE-NX-454 Wireless sensors with my ELK m1 System and it has been working very well.
Now (after about 3-4 years the batteries are failing.
Is there a source for buying replacement batteries?
I do not see why I could not solder new batteries in place.

I also noticed the the advertisement for the NX-454 claims a battery live of 15 years.
I believe it did not claim that when I bought mine.
Is That a newer model? If (So I would not mind getting new NX-454s)

Thanks

IIRC the NX-454 sensors I used had coin cells in them - readily available - no soldering required. Are you sure yours are soldered in?

This is from the manual:

NOTE: The Long-Life Door/Window Sensor battery
cannot be replaced by installers or users. If
you receive a low battery report, you must
return the sensor to ITI for replacement.

That doesn't mean it can't be done, it might not be very easy, though.

If that is the embedded transmitter where you drill a hole in the door and slide the transmitter into the hole, that is a one of a kind battery and you will not find it at Radio Shack.
