Battery issues

Hi,
    Couple of days ago, I brought a new a battery. But, it seems bad luck that it readily shows battery low. Is there any recovery methods? How to troubleshoot it? Need suggestions.

Do you have your receipt? Most retailers will take returns for a defective product.  Otherwise since you have never even said what type of battery (AA, button, automotive battery, Nickel Cadmium, Nickel-Metal Hydride, Lithium Ion, etc.) or the application, its doubtful anyone here will be able to help you.
