Can HAI send out RS232 commands?

I know we can send commands via rs232 TO hai to control HAI, but would like to find a way to send out commands to another controller, like a URC's MRX-10 or MSC400. Im thinking the only work around is to use a zone and have the URC monitor it as open or closed then have URC issues its own macros based on the state of that zone. The problem with that is there are only a couple contact sensers on URC. I want more control.

Scenario, use UPB buttons to not only control lights but send out commands to the AV equipment: dim lights to 20%, turn off all TV in house, etc.

ProLink two-way ASCII text is fairly easy to implement.
The HAI triggers are receive only to the Omni as far as I know.
