Critique my sensor choices/placement

On the pet immune that was referenced, is that only for BIG dogs, or in general? I, for example have 2 dogs (20 and 30lbs) should I expect trouble?

There are several factors that affect pet sensitivity, but at this time I remember only 2 in addition to size.

If your pet likes stepping in your furniture the sensitivity increases proportionaly to the height of the furniture. If you are pointing at stairs, it will be easier for the sensor to detect a pet that is high in the stairs.


Second is pet temperature. This depends mostly on their fur. I have a persian cat with very thick hair that do not trigger the pet inmune sensor even when she steps in the stairs, not only because she is small, but also because she appears too dim to any IR sensor. The thick hair simply does not let the heat escape.

The zone B items for the windows look pretty apparent, I pity the would be thief on page 1 That may be part of their deterrent however...

You are right.

Some of them have pretty long range, so if you have some foliage close to your house you can hide them with some foliage at each corner of your house protecting all the windows in this side of the house at the same time.

I have one set to install in a very exposed set of windows that is in the back of my house. They will not affect the aesthetic of the house very much. In addition, model BP100 has some optional white covers.
