Diginet webserver question

Is there a way to get my camera picture through IE without logging in with the Diginet ActiveX control?

I noticed there was a setup port setting for main camera at 8081, but if I try 192.168.xx.xx:8081, it errors out.

2nd question: Is there some way to have Diginet take a still frame every (1) second and put it somewhere [i.e., \\server\picures\camera.jpg]. Then I could point IE at that.

As for question 2, if Diginet doesn't support it, you could use something like SnagIt screen capture software, which can do a lot of really cool stuff, including taking screenshots of certain objects/areas and upload them automatically.

Hi IVB,

IE browser is very bad in parsing sites when there is a trailing TCP port.

If you type the address in the IE browser location like this:

192.168.1.1:8081

it will fail

Try this:

http://192.168.1.1:8081

or

https://192.168.1.1:8081

Prepend http or https B)

Got it all hooked up, that didn't work. Neither did hacking the HTTP line [ie, it's got command line parms, one being password. Didn't work if i just manually typed it in].

Not totally stressed (yet). There's a programmer-type dude on the CQC forum who's going to see if he can hack the ActiveX control so we can render it inside CQC. I barely understand what that means, all I know is that there's still a chance I can use Diginet and still render inside my screens.

Here's the token screenshots off the webserver.
