ELK <---> ALC Integration

I've been looking at the ALC lighting options paired with an ELK M1G controller as one option for our residence. Can anyone provide current information on their integration facilities?

In particular, there's an ALC part 364864 that is supposed to replace the combined 364644, 364698, and M1XSP interfaces. Is 364864 available?

Am I correct that even with the 364864, I still need the 364644?

The 364726 is required to go beyond 1 branch of 31 loads. There is a part, 364806, that seems to replace the 364726 -- does it combine the 364644 and 364726 features?

If the 364644+364698+M1XSP is still the way to go, should the 364709 replace the 364698 -- it has the same interface capabilities. Will the ramping and daytime clocks be available to the ELK?

I'm surprised at the pricing for switches: SetNet lists $110 for 600W dimmers, and the same for 15A on-off switches (as a DIY homeowner). Getting to within 10-15% of a non-automated system's impossible at that price level.

Hehe..your post looks like you're cursing, but instead of @#$^&!%, you have 3123226, etc. :)

Tony should be along any moment to answer your questions...him or Ranger Digital.

All I'll say is that I believe your last sentence is correct, but you can eliminate the words "at that price level." I do not believe there is any HA lighting system that will come close to that. At its basic level (the switch), you're talking replacing a dumb mechanical item with a controlled mechanism, so that tends to blow the 15% away right there.

At least, so far as I know.

I'm also an ALC fan, and have plans underway to start the switchover, but I'm going to use CQC and do software control instead of an Elk ('cause I dont have one of 'em yet). Doesn't make anything any cheaper, really...'cept me not having to buy an Elk (yet)!
