On an Elk keypad, when exiting a funtion by pressing the * key, there is always a little "clock" icon in the upper left that spins around for a bit. Anyone know what this indicates and why?

The clock indicates that the user code timer or installer code timer is active. When the clock is running, re-entering the user or installer code is not required.
