Elk M1 Displaying Fire Trouble

I have a new Elk M1 that is displaying "Fire Trouble" on the keypad and in the ElkRP software. I also have the COSMOD4W interface and behind it a variety of 4 wire fire/carbon monoxide detectors (all in a daisy chain) with a 2.2 resistor (red, red, red) at the last smoke detector. From the M1 -> COSMOD4W I have CO -> zone 15 and Fire/Smoke -> zone 16. In ElkRP, I setup zone 15 as carbon monoxide and normally open and zone 16 as 4-wire Smoke. The current status of zone 15 is Normal with an open state and the current status of zone 16 is Trouble with an open state (both zones are showing 13.6 volts)

The COSMOD4W is blinking green, which is "normal/good" status but yet my Elk M1 displays "Fire Trouble". TYIA for any assistance!

Can you clear the status in the keypad by entering your pin code while the alarm is unarmed? I know you can generally clear other trouble codes this way when the original reason for the code has been "fixed/cleared".

I believe you should have a System Sensor EOL module on the last smoke detector with the 3.9k resistor that came with the COSMOD4W. The 2.2k resistor goes on the COSMOD4W labelled Panel EOL resistors. Please follow Figure 4 on the COSMOD4W manual.

I had the 3.9k resistor on the last smoke... did some ChatGPT and it suggested that the 2.2k resistor should be there so I swapped it out. I've tried both and neither clear the Fire Trouble. The COSMOD4W is blinking green as if everything is okay so I can't understand why the M1 is having issues.

Have you installed the System Sensor EOL mod? I have installed quite a few of these and they work properly when wired exactly as Figure 4 I referenced above. The 3.9k resistor goes on the last smoke with the EOL mod. The 2.2k resistor goes on the COSMOD4W.

I'll give that a shot the next time I'm out there. Specifically putting the 3.9k resistor on the last smoke and the 2.2k resistor on the COSMOD4W and report back here. Thank you!
