ELK M1 ToGo Windows Application

Thanks for the link ... I'm going to try it out tonight! That looks WAY better than the built in Elk web interface.

The only "bug" I've seen so far, is if I click on CLIMATE, then SENSORS, while it shows the temp sensor in my basement freezer, it shows N/A for the temp. I have to hit the right or left arrow key for it to display the actual temp. Not a huge deal, but if ELK is listening (reading), it's something that should be looked at....

For the price, I think it's a great little app and better than loading up the XEP's Java console app....

ElkRMS does that for me as well - I always have to click the arrows to get it to show me the actual temp of my temp sensor.

Hmmm, so does this now mean that accessing an M1 over the internet is "supported"? Before from what I had read online, it looked like Elk only advised accessing Elk via the M1XEP on the LAN. Doesn't look like there's much documentation on the Elk website for this item.

Thanks for passing along!

They always "supported" access over the WAN, however their documentation provided a clear cutoff as far as what their system's configuration is to connect to a LAN....basically a limitation of where their tech support would need to support or help troubleshoot. Very common for many manufacturers of IP hardware to not support anything past the LAN, switch, router, modem, etc.

Has anyone been able to switch areas with this program? I finally am able to connect, but it comes up with area 1 and I need to get to area 2. Cant find a way to do that. Probably something simple I am not seeing.

Thanks
George M

Select a keypad that is associated with your second area. M1togo will then control the second area.
