OK a few questions concerning ELK RM software.

1. Can the RM software simply run on a PC, or do you need the touch screen that ELK sells?
2. Does anyone know how much this software is?
3. Clearly any touchscreen will work with this product?

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

* Supported Operating Systems (PC): Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 (Service Pack 3) , XP Home & Pro (Service Pack 2) , or Server 2003
* Supported Operating Systems (Mobile Devices): Windows Mobile Software for Pocket PC 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0 for PocketPC and Smartphone, or Windows CE .NET 5.0 and higher. (Microsoft ActiveSync required for installation)
* Computing Device running Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework
* Total Disk Space Requirements: 285 MB (280 MB for .NET 2.0 and 5 MB for ElkRM)
* Memory Requirements: Minimum 64 MB RAM
* Screen Resolution: 640 x 480
* Internet Explorer 5.01 or later


so I would say almost any touch screen will work.

I was figuring the software would be like 500 or so, 150 is awesome!

Actually SetNet has it for 113, even better!

The up coming ELKRMS will be a free upgrade to current ELKRM owners.

TS07 Touchscreen owners will need a 128K Compact Flash Card to run ELKRMS on their touchscreens. A preloaded compact flash card will be available from ELK.
