Elk TS07 Setup

I installed an Elk TS07 for my father-in-law's system a while ago, and got it all set up for security and thermostats. He was asking me today how to add links into the "links" page in RM on the touchscreen, and I cannot figure out how. I tried connecting to the TS through a web browser, but could not log in (Supervisor/Supervisor did not work). I looked around in RP, and could not find anything there either.

Any ideas on how I add links to the TS07?

You need the setup software that comes with the ElkRM installer. When you run the installer, it will ask you what options you want, I believe by default it is not enabled.

When I installed ELK RM it also installed and placed a shortcut to "Elk RM Setup" in the Elk RM folder. The feature set is a little spartan and I didn't see any docs but it's pretty easy to figure out.

Well, this is for a TS07, which came preloaded with ElkRM. Do I need to install ElkRM on a PC as well, in order to get the utility?

Correct, but you can tell the installer to only install the utility.

Has anyone found web sites that display well on the TS-07? I found weather.com and weatherbug.com to be difficult to navigate on the touch screen.

Is there a CD that was supposed to come with the TS07? If so, is there a way for me to contact Elk to get a replacement CD? My father-in-law opened and unpacked his TS07, before I installed it, so I don't know what he might have done with the CD.

I don't remember if it came with a CD or not, but you should check with whoever you bought it from. You can also try downloading the demo version:

It should be the full package, and include the setup utility.

That worked great. I was able to install the RM Setup utility, and send the links to teh TS07.
