Expansion limits and switch question

Hello,
Couple questions here. The specs state that you can use up to two zone expansion boards (10A06-1). You can also use one 232/485 expansion board (10A17-1). The manual shows them all connecting via the same port (albeit daisy chained). Am I correct in assuming that I can install two zone expanded (jumper positions 1/2), and one serial expander (jumper position 3) at the same time?

The 35A00 switches all have the same ratings, features in the spec sheet. Am I correct in assuming they are all exactly the same, the only difference being the programing from the factory? And that any of the switches can be reprogrammed to be any version? IE you can buy a 600W switch, then reprogram it to a 600w CFL/LED dimmer at a later date?

Thanks

I do not have the answer for the switches part of your question, but you can install 2 zone expanders and one serial board at the same time.

I know that dimming and non-dimming switches are same, just a UPB programming change.
I have not played with the CFL version, so I can't comment on those.

Correct in that you can have 2 hardwire expanders and then a serial board on top of an OmniProII or Omni IIe.  What board are you running?  Do you really need that extra serial port?

The older non-CFL/LED dimmers and the new ones are NOT interchangeable or upgradeable.  They have different dimming curves mainly, and you cannot change those in the field.  If you are doing a new install, just get the CFL/LED ones as the new curve isn't that noticeable on regular incandescent.
