False Alarm

My house in Florida had a false alarm today. The police were called and people responded. Ultimately nothing was wrong and it was a false alarm. The house is unoccupied. I don't know what brand the motion sensor is but that was the zone that tripped. No other tripped. There was no spider web or anything obviously wrong. The motion is hard wired and I inherited it with the house but replaced the system with an HAI omni pro. Any ideas what to look at or things to consider?

Raccoon, sunlight coming through a window, heat register, failing motion detector? I would consider a dual tech motion sensor.

My system went nuts once cuz it drew too much power, and overloaded the M1G.

I am worried the motion is going to poop. What is a dual technology motion specifically? I don't think it was temperature related. The AC was not running at that time. The blinds are closed but light sneaks in certainly.

Yes, look at Optex and Bosch.

I use the Honeywell DT-7235, never a trouble.
