Free Touch screen

I have a whole bunch of 15" lcd screens with Elo touch overlays and have had very little luck figuring out how to get a video signal to them. What I am offering is a free one (you just pay for shipping) if you can figure out how I would hook one to a regular computer. I want to get a couple working for myself and get rid of the rest of them. Here are the details:

LG LM151x4 (A3) LCD screen. Here is the specifications sheet for them.
Elo touch overlay part number: 094939-000.

I also have a bag full of Elo usb touch control boards model: 2500UZJ5. I will throw one of these in for whoever figures this out first. I know I need an inverter for the backlight but cant figure out how to send a video signal to the monitor.

Hmm, looking at the pinout in the PDF, I'd say you have an LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling)monitor. You may be able to find some VGA -> LVDS adapters out in the wild, I've never looked. Some low power embedded PC boards have LVDS connectors and that's probably what this panel was intended for.

Hope this helps,

Terry

EDIT: Gotta love Google - here are some VGA->LDVS adapters, you still need an inverter for the backlight but that should be easy enough...
