Hey guys and gals, i am installing HAI in my new home. I find the GUI is very bland. I hurd that you can change the front end of it i was wondering if anyone can point me to it...

this is what i am instailling in case you need to know

5 Touch Screens
2 Touch Pads
Nuvo Grand Concerto 6-Source 6 zone
2 Thermostats
A butt load of of dimmer switches and 6 Scene Controllers

Any help would be nice.. thanks guys and gals! ;)

variety of packages allow you to do this. On the upper extreme, there's CQC (CharmedQuark, winner of the 2008 Cocoontech HA Software of the year award ;) ), although it's certainly an elephant gun to kill a mosquito if all you want is a front-end. I'm sure there's cheaper alternatives, i just don't personally know so I can't speak to it.

thanks ill take a look at it! is there anymore that someone may know about maybe somthing that is skinable?

The only things I know of are Snaplink for PCs.
iTouches/iPods have h@me (which is very cool).
And My:Ro is coming out pretty soon. That will probably be something along the lines of what you are looking for.

As said above CQC is pretty rocking. If you want to integrate your HAI with other things that is definately something to look into.

MainLobby, Homeseer and CQC support the HAI panels. They are all "skinnable" (completely).

CQC is one price for all device drivers (plus an annual maintenance fee), HS and ML are priced ala carte.

They require a PC and a PC compatible touchscreen. I think I read you have HAI touchpanels...none of these PC solutions will change what the HAI panels look like. I am not sure if there are any good solutions that can significantly mod your HAI panel look.

Anyone ever used GrafikTouch?

Haven't tried it, but that too appears to be a PC based platform requiring a PC touchscreen. Not usable on the HAI touchscreens.

The original poster has not responded if PC based touchscreens is in his plan, or whether it should be.
