I think I already know the answer here.. But if aynone is familar with both..
GE Concord protocal is not the same as the GE Caddx right? I looked at the docs and the looked like they had the same idea but slightly differnt formats.

I have a GE Concord system and the automation software I use has a Caddx driver. It is my understanding that GE owns they alarm systems but they were both origainally designeed by other companies.

I just want to make sure that sounds like right before I move on to shelling out for the ELK.

I don't think so as I vaugely remember a post over HomeSeer and about someone having to write a driver for their Concord (Telefragger or PiperPilot??) as the (assuming) current Caddx plugin written by Jasv wouldn't work for it.

Check over there before you take my statement to the bank though (that getting old thing...just can't remember like I used to) :(

that was helpful... they do a have a driver over there but it is for concord only. i am running cqc which has a caddx driver. If nothing else I can maybe sell my concord rs232 module to one of those guys..
