HAI announce via Russound CAM6.6

I have an Omni IIe, a Russound CAM 6.6, and a WHS running CasaTunes.

Is there anyway to have my HAI system announce over the Russound system when doors open?

Like "garage Door Ajar" or " Back Door Open"?

That was the main problem with the cam6.6 over the cav6.6. The cam does not have any means to input audio for a page. I actually sold my cam and bought the Cav for that reason even though I don't use the video features of it.

You might consider doing that same as i got a decent price off mine and the upgrade was worth it

Frag. Now my Cam6.6 sucks The paging input is exactly what wuold make all of this super easy.

Other than the config on the box will a CAV drop right in where my CAM is? Using the S2 keypads and ST2 tuner?

I do. Is there a good way to trigger the CAM to turn on all zones/override current activity to send the page information?

It looks like the HAI voice module can send the sound if I can figure a way for the CAM to play it.

You would have to setup some programming in the HAI to accomplish what you want. You would have to turn on all zones, set all zones to the paging source and then play your message. The biggest problem you will run into is there is no easy way (if at all) to go back to the previous source in each of the zones. I will look into the zone/source tracking and see if I can post some sample programming.
