HAI Omni Ports

Hello -

I have an older Omni Pro board.

I see that it only has one serial port but it list in the spec it can support a lot more.

How do I add ports? It looks like there is a place for them on the board.

It looks like the newer board has quite a few ports already on the board.

You need to get a HAI 10A17 serial expander board. It will mount onto the top right side of the main OmniPro board. I believe you can have up to 4 expansion modules, which also includes hardwire zone expanders. Each board will have a jumper to set the address, and then you will need to go into the installer options via the keypad and program the port for either Omni-Link or Pro-Link.
