HAI Omnitouch 5.7 Mater Code

Hi All,

My name is Ademar and I am new here

I have a couple of questions about HAI Omnitouch 5.7 but before i ask I should say I know absolutely nothing about home automation/security.

The thing is that i bought a house which has the HAI device that controls gas and water valves, alarms and shutters. This is a holiday house and i have had problems with guests messing around with the touch screen switching off gas and setting off alarms.

So i started searching on how to add a "Master Code" to the screen wishing that only people that have such a code would be able to change things.
I downloaded manuals but i cant find anything like that. The only thing on the manual is:

"...The “System Setup” pages look and operate similar to an HAI console. Refer to your controller owner’s manual for complete operating and programming instructions."

So here I am now hoping that one of the specialist here can help me.

Thanks in advance for your help and please let me know if the question is not very clear.

You want to use the help menu in PCA.

Here is a copy and paste of the Misc settings from the help menu in PCA.

Miscellaneous: High Security
This setting in the Setup->Miscellaneous tab is used to allow you to view the event log and access the local phones with or without having to enter a security code. Select between the options in the drop-down box. The default setting for High Security is No.
An appropriate setting for High Security in most residential applications is No. With this setting, a security code is not required to access a local telephone.
If you have a commercial installation or would like added protection from unauthorized access to the system, you can set High Security to Yes. With this setting, the display will request the Master or Manager code whenever you select one of these functions, even if the security system is Off. Simply enter your Master or Manager code.
With High Security set to Yes, the Master or Manager code is always required to do the following functions:
• Any Control functions
• Any Temperature Control
• View the Event Log
• Access the system from a local phone

Read some as there is a master installation code, master user code, regular user code and a code that is configured in PCA to use PCA.
The security stuff above just uses the standard user code versus a master user code.  The explanation is kind of convoluted but it does make sense reading it a bit.
