home automation sw / upb

I have about 35 upb switches, and I am controlling them all with homeseer.

Are there any "integrated" solutions like a micasaverde that will work with UPB?

or

Decent linux based solution with android phone capability to manage upb.

I don't want to dive into a HAI/Elk for this particular install.  I seem to have a hard time finding UPB as a supported protocol for SW solutions.

You can utilize Web mountain's embedded "do what" controller (upb and ...) to give you some time scheduling functions:

Yup; here today utilize the HAI OPII panel for UPB (and Homeseer) and other "stuff" with automation stuff.  I have too recently switched over to utilizing multitoggle double presses and links on the UPB switches.  High WAF ....she knows the kitchen lighting now better than me...(9 switches today - and condensed 2 gang to single gang multiple function switches).

I actually find it surprising for the lack of options out there for UPB.  It is well established and one of the easiest to program.

Does Homeseer or CQC support?

Homeseer 2.X does support UPB direct and links and the newer dual load switches.  I utilize it today for this and that with an SA Pim. I utilize the links  / variables to drive events in HS. (same as in the HAI panel).  I use Upstart on a floater PIM to check signals and tweak stuff.

I did a review on the RUC-01 a long time ago.  They have made some updates to it, but not sure if you are looking for something that basic.  Another approach is to buy the X10/UPB interface, which allows you to use a controller which supports X10, assuming you aren't looking for extremely advanced commands/configurations.

I really like the RUC.
It allows me to do some things the HAI won't, like send commands to individual channels of an SA 22-240, have vacation events with a random variable time, use UPStart over an IP connection, send text messages, etc.
