*** Honeywell 5821 Temp/Flood Detector.

Can you use Tane WS1 Flood sensor instead of the 470PB Honeywell recommends with 5821. I wonder if there are additional resistors are built in 470PB? There is a 2.2M resistor provided with 5821 that goes in parallel to the terminals. Wonder if the WS1 has resistors? Haven't metered it yet....

Use what the manufacturer recommends.
 
While it may appear equivalent, we do not know the entire engineering on the probes and the exact electrical configuration and even if they would interchange.
 
 Also, the note spells it out well enough in my mind. The parts are cheap enough.

Just wondering if you can have couple Flood sensor in parallel to each other connected to 5821 to cover two areas in a bathroom? They would be open any ways and shouldn't affect the resistance.
