How flexible is the HAI Automation Studio?

How much can you customize with the HAI Automation Studio? Can you import any image and use it as a button or backdrop? I see in a couple photos HAI shows a floor plan. Can you layer buttons on the floor plan to show when lighting is on or off or if a door is open?

Why haven't we seen custom "skins" created with AS?

Thanks Neurorad... that's a huge help. It appears to be more flexible than I had originally expected. So I'm surprised we haven't seen more user uploaded projects. Is there maybe another site dedicated to this?

Most people who install HAI systems are pros, and get hands-on training through HAI or distributors. You may want to look into the official training - I think it would be enjoyable.

You can certainly import images and use it as a button or a background. You could create a floor plan several ways, one way would be to add a "Panel" to the page. In this "Panel" you could set the background image to the floorplan image, you could then drop button on it. These buttons could be light bulbs, doors, etc. It's pretty flexible.
