I am replaceing a defective 2112ATL in a Brinks alarm system with a 4WT-B sensor.
However I have problem with the terminals designation since they are not the same.
The terminals of the 4WT-B Sensor are labled as follows:
(1)+         (2)+         (3)-         (4)N.O.        (5)C

The Terminals of the 2112ATL sensor are labled as followes:
(1)Sync    (2)+       (3)Z+       (4)Zin     (5)Zout
A resistor is connected between (3)Z+ and (5)Zout

Which wire from the 2112ATL goes to which terminal of the 4WT-B and between which terminals of the 4WT-B should the resistor be connected?
help in resolving this puzzle will be greatly appreciated
Sincerely,
Zimi

My understanding is that the 2112ATL has a proprietary interface for the Brinks panel.  I'm not sure if there is a way to adapt a standard 4-wire smoke interface for use with this panel.

This isn't the usual forum to ask this type of question.  I think you'll get a better response if you ask this question in the Home Security forum.
