ION Plungers and Raspberry Pi

HI Grogs,
 
have any of you tried to integrate ION plungers to a Raspberry Pi ( via a some receiver of course )
 
I have a handful of the ION plungers installed and am pretty happy with them. I am looking to do a bit of simple access sensing for another project and was thinking of using a Pi as the integrating point.

GE/ITI Quikbridge would change to a dry contact which would be simple to interface with any 3rd party system.

Remember, GE/ITI has multiple names since they bought ITI years ago.

Happy to of found them at AO, where I've purchased a mess of stuff before. I'm ordering the 8 zone version.
 
I'm wondering tho if I have 2 close to each other if they'll interfere with each other.

Receiver or transmitter?

receiver. in my current Elk install I'm not getting too many problems with the transmitters.
vendor promises an answer

Receiver is a passive device so it shouldn't be a problem for them to be in proximity of each other.

there's always a little charge in an antennae.
 
Anyway the MFG recommends 5' between units.
 
The receiver & a few plungers have arrived in time for some benching
