I'm thinking about getting the IP232 to interface with my Rain8 and some custom software. Has anyone out there got experience with the IP232? It seems like a good product. What about the price? The cheapest I've seen is Worthington for $97.37.
What I have already is this item: Rain8net - Computer Sprinkler Controller which - despite the name - connects via RS232. Is there something that I'm missing? I figured the Elk IP232 would be the cheapest, easiest way to IP enable the Rain8 that I have. I didn't see a Rain8 product that already had IP capabilities.
Wow, your right! I could have sworn I saw a Rain8-Net with network capabilities . The only thing I was able to find was an "add-on" that gives WiFi capabilities, but I don't believe this could communicate with an Elk.
